PLANO, TX OCT. 31-  MAS DFW Freedom held an educational election forum on Oct. 31, 2008.  It was a great evening of political education, information and fellowship at the MAS Youth Center in Plano.

PLANO, TX OCT. 31-  MAS DFW Freedom held an educational election forum on Oct. 31, 2008.  It was a great evening of political education, information and fellowship at the MAS Youth Center in Plano.

  Seventeen top political candidates, including Green Party Presidential Candidate Cynthia McKinney, spoke to the audience of approximately 125 attendees.  The candidates represented Dallas and Collin Counties, as well as State-wide offices.  Mahdi Bray, MAS Freedom Executive Director, moderated the event.

   Election Forum attendees were able to pose their questions to the candidates in a Town Hall-style forum.  It was an invaluable opportunity for community members to have the undivided attention of their political representatives.
